Looks like they have finally agreed to make games with Xbox Live capability.
What do you guys think of this?
It's about time. I mean, supporting Sony's online 'system' but not Xbox Live?
Good thing EA "saw the light."

EA's online games are absolute rubbish...they are two player only...fine for Madden, not so fine for NFS Underground or Tiger Woods. Hopefully they change the head-to-head approach for XBL.

The Live game I'm excited about from EA is Burnout 3. It rocks! I was worried that it wouldn't live up to #2, but I loved it when I got the chance to play.

Good to hear...Burnout 3 will definitely be on my list along with Tiger Woods 2005 as a result of this announcement.

Who made battlefeild 1940 something? That is probably what I'm think, or navy seals or something along those lines.

Unless their Lord of the Rings RPG has an Online mode it has no effect on me. Still, it's good to know they've reached 2002.

Yeah I'm glad EA is with Xbox live now. I bought Madden 04 for ps2 because of that fact, but now I have to decide what football game i want since i'm on xbox now, madden 05 or the other football games.
I guess I'll just have to research and sample the games before i decide which is better for me =D

Yeah, EA going to Xbox Live! is definitely great for Xbox. I bet Xbox will get alot more business with this merge of EA. There is so many known and trusted game titles that EA has that customers have been buying over the years. So alot more people are gunna buy EA games before ESPN or...989. Just because it more known, kind of like Windows OS on computers...

I heard that people had really tough time logging into servers when NCAA 05 released. Now people are saying they are getting on better. But I dont have LIVE, so I can't tell you anything from my experience.

I agree and disagree. Yes EA has a good fan base but that is for a reason. They have the best graphics and gameplay of any other sport title out there. So I say thats why people like them better and therefore thats why EA sells the crap out of thier games unlike ESPN and 989 trying to always best EA when they can't, unless they sit bet and at least try to put some time in the graphics engines in those games IE player models face models basically everything. ESPN and 989 suck horribly. Im getting Madden '05 and NCAA and NHL '05

As I don't play any of the US sport titles I'm personally looking forward to Battlefield Modern Day by EA, said to be able to hold 24 players, I keep hearing about future games being able to hold more players (20+), is this going to be through some new data compression technology or are they gunna put it all on servers?
