Ask Grandpa?

I was talking to John the other day about maybe writing a weekly column for the site. Unfortunately, it's easier to say "I'll do it" than to come up with topics every week... He's not pushing me to do this - it was my idea, but he did think it was a good one. This weekend, I came up with the idea of doing a column that I'd call "Ask Grandpa," where you all (or whoever) could write in with questions, hopefully regarding video games, and I'd answer them. They could be serious, or they could be goofy. It could be "how do I cheat at XXX game" or "has anyone ever made a game where you YYY," or "why won't my rabbit eat the steak I left him?"

So... what do you all think? Does this sound like a cool idea to you? If so, I'll propose it to him and start collecting questions.

EDIT - if this is extra incentive... it'd probably decrease my posting on the forums, since I'd need to save up my comments for the column. :tapedmout

So it looks like a few people think this is a good idea, but not a lot. Does anyone have any other ideas for columns or regular features you'd like to see?

Its a good idea and it will add some spice to the site. A more homemade feel something XE can claim for its own
