The thread about my favorite band, Linkin Park. In my opinion, they are the best band as of yet. Linkin Park has their own individual style, similar to mine. There is no label on what their music or their style represents. I have all of their CDs on my hard drive, and I've bought all of the CDs (*gasp!*), along with the unofficial songs not on CDs but released on the internet.

i love them too ...they probably are my faorite band aswell i just dont relly obsess about them..i also like the mix between hip hop and rock and sometimews a load of others. love theis songs .. my favorite song rite now is "breaking the habit"

Well, I personally don't find them appealing, but they are one of my girlfriend's favorite group. I think she likes them because she can't sing...and thus she like groups that involve lousy vocals so she doesn't feel as out of place singing along in her car. Me on the other hand, as a vocalist, I demand something that puts the vocals ahead of the instrumentals.

lol@SD. I love LP. Just about as much as Tempest. I dont have any of their unreleased tracks though. I need to get some!!!!
EDIT: Hey Silentdeath and Tempest! Chester is a fellow masturbator. I never knew that! Maybe we should go to one of their concerts one time and get back-stage passes and talk to him about masturbation lol.

It is, I mean have you heard anything that resembled Linkin Park? They're the kind of band that when you hear a song you can recognize it, just the sound it expresses. No band other than Linkin Park has done that. I'm not speaking literally here.

actually there is one other group that kind of sounds like them ...Lacuna coil...but not that much... i thought no flamers were allowed...wow! really ? tempest u've never been to their concerts?!?! u should go to one...they are freaking amazing live!(specially when ur there)

Lacuna Coil sounds NOTHING like Linkin Park. There have been few that actually sound a little bit like LP: Dry Cell is the major one.

yeah we know but its their attitude that pisses me off... i dont go up to my friends saying "Yeah techno shit sucks , oh your so gay for listening to that" (this is what someone told my friend before we beat the shit out of him for annoying him...i personally love all types of music exept for hardcore electronica...it doesnt sound like anything.

SOAD live and uncut! Yea, I love SOAD they kick ass. I whish they would play a concert in Cincinnati so I could see them, they did play a Souls concert, but that was in L.A. so I didn't get to go. But they are releasing a album soon, so that is good.

Steal this Album! sucked ass, and Toxicity wasn't that great either. The self-titled album was phenomonal though, it's one of my favorites.
