is the new splinter cell any good?

I want to know if the new splinter cell is any good! i know i played it but only a little, then had to give it up. Is it? How about multiplayer? Im going to get live if it is any good!

Aparently the single player portion of the game is decent at best, but the multiplayer mode is really something. I can't wait to play it.

I'm enjoying this game, but I would much rather pick up my Rainbow 6 3 over Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. SC takes a lot of thinking... and you have to plan your attacks. I feel like a camper when playing the game.

For anyone looking into to playing for the first ime (online) don't be the spy! It's a lot harder!

Man i played the new splinter cell!!! it is sooooo cool!

ok so this is what it is:
one team of spies. with stealth, non-leathal weapons, and jumping around and climbing things.

Stuff -
Granades
Chaft - for movement sensors and lazers
Flash bang- you know what this is.

Thermal and night vision - duh!

Cool gun that fires a tazer, so dumb! and it works only for a short time. - also fires the granades. and has laser pointer for aim.

Cool spy bullet that lets you listen in on mercinaries live headphones. -very cool!
-note- must be shot at mercinary first!

Objectives:
1. Set explosves.
2. Disable Gas thingy
3. Get gas canaster and bring it back to out side. (usually 2 canasters)

A second team is of mercernaries.

They get a motion detector - shows things that are moving, so spys have to just stop to not be picked up.

and an electronic detector - shows when spies are using thermal or night vision.

Kick ass gun! it has a scope! and it DOES KILL YO ASS!
Very cool gun! comes with lazer light, and flash light.

wall mines- for proxy or lazer trip.

frag granade- boom!
smoke granade- cough cough

Mercinaries job:
Kill spy and stop them from winning.

Very simple!

This game rules on live! when you are a spy it is soooo cool to be up and a merc down there looking for you, you are praying not to be cought! so much fun! a must renter!

and a merc automaticly gets these sencors through out the complex. so the spies have to disable these with their guns and win!

Very cool game for multiplayer! a must rent or at least try!

how hard is it to find a game?

Well i tried to get a game going today and this guy was really dumb and kept being .......(sorry) gay! so i delt with that. Its real easy tho! you just do the quick game, and any active games pop up! if you dont like the game there, just hit Y and you will get a different option. You can talk in the lobby area and ask the person with the controls to change them. You can set lives for each team (good for handycap) and cool stuff like that. They have very cool maps.

that would rule! and it is one of the best games on live, i only have 5 for live and tetris and clone wars suck! but i have mech assault, splinter cell, duh, and ghost recon! phat games!

I have this game and its great, I play on and offline. I RECOMMEND IT! buy it

Well, its single player is a little drab, but it totally makes up for it in multi. But the one thing holding it back is the players online.

Half the players don't play with any stealth what so ever. They just run at a merc, throw a bunch of chaff grenades and break there necks. Or you get into a game with a total idiot. Who "accidentally" shoots you while your trying to take cover.
And then there is always the team who looses, in wich case they leave the game before they loose so they keep there beloved score.

Great game, but the actual players ruind it for me.
