I must say, these trailers look a HELL of a lot better than the Spiderman and Daredevil trailers did. Plus, The Punisher has John Travolta as lead villain.

I don't think it'll be as good as Spider-Man, but it looks WAY better than that piece of crap they did with Dolph Lundgren a while back.

What are you talking about it wont be better than Spiderman? Spiderman suck big time they made it bad when they put in those cheesy computer effects. Hopefully Punisher will have none of those.

Well, to each his own. I'd have to say that a very large number of people liked Spiderman, based on ticket sales, as well as DVD sales and rentals. However, there's never been a movie EVERYONE liked, so if you guys didn't, that doesn't bother me. I mean, I actually liked all three Matrix movies, so that tells you what kind of taste I have. ;)

I think people went to see Spiderman for the curiousity, the best Marvel comic becoming a movie, why WOULDN'T it sell tickets? I mean, the Superman movies sucked but people STILL watched it.

Nah - doesn't fly. Way too much repeat business for it all to have been simple curiosity. That'll only get people to a movie once. As far as the Superman movies go, people didn't think they sucked when they came out - well, not all of them. The fourth was pretty crappy.

anyways, there's no telling, really, how the punisher's gonna be. it can either be good, or be really bad. and, from the look of the trailers, it definitely has not let anyone in on the secret of what it's decided to be yet. hell, it even has the crappy soft, but heavy modern rock crap in the trailer. but, i do like the punisher comics, and, unless this thing gets ****tier reviews than daredevil, i'll probably be seeing it.

what you guys should be discussing instead is how kickass 'hellboy' is going to be.

No, that was the third one, with the computer and all. I think. In the fourth one, they made a nuclear/solar powered super bad guy who fought Superman, and Superman ended up burying him in the moon where the sunlight couldn't get to him. It was stupid. Hellboy does look pretty cool, though.

i've been thinking about it, and last night at hellboy i came to the same conclusion as one of ian's friends...

this movie's going to be mediocre, not bad and not good, but just average. and that's what's really gonna piss me off about it.
