Headset?

Do you guys know if you can chat in a chatroom on XBL, and also chat in jade empire, whacked, unreal, and pso? (the only games that are out now that insterest me)

There is something like a chatroom. You can create a room and invite your friends only. Also, you can use your headset for every Xbox Live game. ...... Jade Empire isn't out yet.

It depends on who you are chatting with. Some people talk alot while others don't talk at all. The last night i had a really fun time on RTCW (Castle Wolfenstien) playing with people who talked alot and dicked around like crazy. We were playing village. I'd rather have fun then win any day. I hate people who take the game to seriously or are stat whores.

One time I played on a server with a girl on it. I thought she was a 10 year old boy. I think i only seen about 4 or 5 girls on xboxlive since i got it. And i got it the day it came out.

I love talking all the time.

No not trash talk I talk about stupid sh!t. I feel that if I have a mic I might as well use it.

Nothing bothers me more then join a game with 7 other people and when I talk all I hear in my head in crickets. Then after much delay of not hearing anyone say sh!t I leave. Alot of the fun I get out of xbox live is the idea that I can talk about stuff to other people I dont know and probaly will never meet.

But when people talk to me it gives me that edge that tells me that these are real people and not AI. When I join a game of silent players it really makes me feel like I'm playing single player.

Dont be scared to talk unless your a little 10 year old kid then it is probaly best you dont talk because many "teen and up" gamers dont think that kids are very intellectually bound.

And also if you want to talk dont stick the mic right infront of your mouth and also dont stick it up your nose so everytime your breathe it makes static.

The funny reason why kids are so loud on the mic is because the headset is to big for their head the the mic is right in their face getting weighed down by the back.

Yeah by the way Jade empire is probaly comeing out after TFLO for the sake of comparision.

Its funny. Little kids all ways think they are the Cat's pajamas. They also seem to have the worse comebacks.

there are chatrooms.... they arent public you have to invite your friends into them.

As for the keyboard I really dont get way you would get one... but you can get them at any gameing store like EB.

I know EB has them though saw one when I was waiting in line with Ninja Gaiden lol.

yeah i also hate the silent room, my best times are when there are a bunch of funny idiots in a room, i have fun laughing and playing all night. and yes we do mess over 10 year olds.

TFLO isnt out yet... American release is winter.(unless u mean PSO) theres really no reason to get a keyboard. Talking is much easier and quicker. And I think PSO is the only game so far that uses a keyboard.... at least that I know of.

You can get a keyboard adapter for like $7 from Microsoft, then use a USB keyboard with it. You can chat in PSO in the lounge, or liek Bluehemp said on Xbox Live dashboard.
