whatever that game is they say its better than "halo". Sadly it won't compare to halo 2 :-P

Well the UT series is imo different than Halo. Also, you can see obvious "inspirations" in the game. I haven't played the demo yet, but some people say it is good and others don't like it. I'm one of those types of people who prefer the old UT.

UT2k4 feels to tribesish i could go buy tribes 2 for 10 bucks for the almost same game.

Im sorry guys, but Unreal Tournament 2004 is amazing. And by amazing, I mean it will get you hooked, and it will never let go. Thing is, both games are a bit different. UT2K4 is more fast-paced while Halo is a bit slower. I personally would take UT2K4 over Halo anyday.

as i have played all games mentioned in this thread, it does not feel tribish at all and it doesnt feel halo eirther. it still feels Quake3/Unreal Tournament to me

Okay. Tribes 2 and UT will always be different, until Tribes 3 anyway. UT2k4 is like a faster paced Halo. Nuff said.

UT is much different than halo and UT2k4 compairs to tribes more than anything (well thats if you play that game were you capture the power points and build power plants or some **** other than that the game is like UC with really big maps and its actually fun. The game is almost completely uncompairable to halo in my opinion

UT2k4 wont even be T3, although it will be closer seeing that they are increasing the gameplay speed but it wont be the same.

i seriously hate face pace games were your going in super fast motion. I think that why i could with stand a fps like halo then others fps.

so do I were people run insanly fast its ****ed up. I like counter-strike because the normal speed which is pretty fast is all out running unlike in DoD were your walking at the same speed and sprinting 4 times faster.
