Well, goodbye xbox. Its official that there will be NO HD for the xbox 2. Lets just hope they do something. Ive been away from memory cards for so long I dont want to go back to them. Link (http://news.teamxbox.com/content.php?id=5518)

I'm not woried, did you read the whole thing? The disks they want to use could hold up to 47 gigs, and that is HUGE compared to the xbox's curent, what 6 gig hardrive? I think it is for the better. Plus, it will save the consumer money because it is cheaper for microsoft to get. Oddly, I find my self happy, instead of sad:mc:

No actually I didnt read the whole thing lol. I read "No harddrive in Xbox 2 confirmed" and I was pissed off enough at that point.

What the fcuk guys!! The next box won't even be on shelves until 2006 at the earliest... don't believe everything you read on the internet. Microsoft knows how much we all love our internal storage device... i'm sure whatever alternative they use to the bulky ass harddrive will be great.

they are going to be using a type of flash cd storage device, according to the artical, that can hold up to 47 gigabytes of info, that is bigger that most home pc hardrives! I trust that what they do, it will be good. I say that because Microsoft is: a) very rich, rich enough to take risks and try new things, b) in it to eventualy make money and to do that they are going to have to please us :D

Go to GameSpot. there is an article also there with a comment from a Microsoft XBox employee saying that it is not confirmed whether or not a HD is/isn't included. So the jury is still out.

Either way ill be happy... **** and 47 Gigs... huge I could burn dvds on my xbox 2 lol. It almost sounds like a external portable hard drive.
It makes sence to take it out, like he said it really hurts MS money wise to include a HD just like it will hurt Sony if they release a HD. Sure we are talking about billion dollar corps, but still they have to watch what they do, one wrong move and they will get bumped from the console market.
But I'm not going to say anything is true until they "OFFICALLY ANNOUNCE IT" I honestly dont believe a fraction of the xbox sites out there. None of them give solid evidence for what they say.
I'm going to wait for that Gamer Conference to go down in a month before I say anything.

Guys, just because there are drives THAT CAN hold 47 GBs, doesn't mean they will be available for the Xbox 2. Those 47 GB drives are meant for military purposes, not for the Xbox. Don't plan on ever seeing drives that big available. I would assume the most might be 5-10 GB. And even then, those would still be expensive.

Exactly, i wish i never got an xbox. So far the games suck, except for morrowind, i don't want to have to buy other **** just to play a console, like when a system doesen't come with a controller, i don't spend ****ing 400$ for a big ass crate just to have to buy other ****.

It amazes me that people still think this even though Xbox has been one of the best consoles ever made.
Morrowind is not that great.... the game is way to easy you can beat it in a few days.
OH NO! but I skipped a million quests... seriously if I want to be told what to do and get rewarded for it I'll go to work. But as far as I see it if I've killed the last guy thats it! I beat the game no reason to back track and do side quests. Unless of course its an online game but morrowind isnt.

xbox has loads of kick ass games...but i guess u want better rpg well if ur patient enough there is TFLO. And anyways 47 gigs thats a **** load but seeing that it will be sold sepperatly it will prolly add up to another $60-$100 or prolly more (assuming that its like a 15 gig one)

i didn't buy my xbox for RPGs so i'm good with mine if i could get it to work ****ING MODCHIP, well that just goes to show you, God and the world hate me. I bought my xbox for fast paced spray and pray kicking ass gaming goodness, not turn based cool spell JRPG ****.

Seriouly... Do you think anyone want to pay 400-500 buxs for a console? Xbox-300 buxs, HD 100 buxs, 50 buxs for games...... may i go on? I ll buy a ps3 and have fun till then and wait several months for the price of the xbox 2 to go down to 179.

Anyway, i hope Xbox 2 doesen't come out into 2006, so TFLO will stay on the xbox while it's still updated, and it won't die and get old in awhile. Maybe microsoft will ****ing listen to us then.

I m trying my best not to bash the xbox but come on now. I m always up for buying a system once it release like i did with the xbox 299. I also bought 2 games with it which came up to 400 buxs in christmas money. I am not dissapointed with it either and chosen it over my ps2. What their asking for right now is ludiricas and i could buy new pc games with it.

well Myukoi all any company wants is money by pleasing the customers, looking at the xbox community most of them are PC gamers meaning that they like FPSs the product is geared toward americans not japanese who's main gaming are RPGs, Dating Sims and stuff like DDR. Even Sony and Nintendo aren't gonna be like him we could make 10,000,000 or please the customer by giving them free **** it doesn't work like that in the real world.
