Ninja Gaiden Playable Demo

The new OXM has a playable demo of Ninja Gaiden. :) I haven't played it yet. The mailman just dropped off the mail. I'm deffinately going to try it out later though. :)

Yea, its March.

I just played some of it and think its great. The graphics are very good and the gameplay is smooth. The are tons of different moves you can do etc. You can runs on walls, wall jump, etc. The weapons are nice too. :)

i got the demo thursday... It is Fan-Tabulus! Serious, the demo is SO cool. If it reprasents how good the full game will be, then it is a must buy

yeah, the flial is my favorite weapon (although the big sword is cooler). One time, i got an 89 hit combo!!! What is you guys' biggest combo? :D

There's a rumor that the OXM demo is based on last years E3 demo. If that's true then the finished product could be even better.

Tenchu is ninja, just in a different way, in a stealthy, don't get caught way. It is pretty good, just, not ninja gaiden :D

Also if you like past Ninja Gaiden Games...

You could ask that question for any game... like why is halo so good.... who the hell knows but we love it. Why did KOTOR become such a big hit... I dont know, but I bought it.

The OXM Splinter Cell Downloads might be old DL Content. They sometimes release the DL Content on their discs for those who don't have Xbox Live (unless the content has a price tag).

Yeah, this game rocks. So much blood, so smooth, so many combo's, cant wait to get the real thing to get faster, better weapons.

Whoever said tenchu is a rip off of Ninja Gaiden, I dont think they even come close to being the same, not even if they tried. Besides, I'm not too sure when the Gaiden series began, but I remember Tenchu was out for ps1, and possibly before (played tenchu 2 on PS1, so never know)

Also in the OXM, I noticed a lengthy preview of the Next Mechassault. Instead of staying in the Mechs, you can get out and roam around, get Battle armor and jackother Mechs (IMO, Very cool) Drive tanks, which are supposed to be a 'stealthy addition', where else is a tank going to be stealthy? Also, the Screenshots of the mechs from human eyes made the things look huge!

Yeah, Mechassault 2 looks awesome so far. All the things I wanted to see in the first game they've added to the new game. Unless the developers magically suck overnight I'll be getting that game for sure.

Well I just bought Ninja Gaiden... It's ****ing hard as hell and I'm only on the second lvl...

Either I really suck at this game or it's just really hard I dont know... but it is very fun... guys on horses are cheap and should burn in hell.

By the way this game is XBL enabled and I went on live saw something about a online tourny, I didnt venture online yet since I pretty much suck at the game at the moment, but what is this online stuff can you battle other people or somthing? lol I'll have to look at it later.

That reminds me of something I read about Star Wars games. Someone asked "Why is it that when people in the movies use a lightsaber, it chops things right in half, but I have to hit people a bunch with one in games to kill them?"

The first developer who answered said "because then we'd just have to call it Jedi Slaughterfest." The second one said "other people CAN do that, even in the game - you just suck." :D

Well I beat the horsey dude after about a hour and went to the next lvl with a metallic fatman with a gun...

The bosses in this game are really hard... getting to them isnt that bad, but man they will kick your sorry ass 1 on 1.

In Chapter 4 and 5, so far, you'll face the Black Ninja's that throw exploding shurikens that stick to you. tgey get very annoying cause theyre harder to kill and they gang up on ya.

I got the game yesterday as well and I can tell I'm not going to be finishing it any time soon. ^ ^

I think the Master Ninja tournament is a bunch of downloadable tasks and skill tests that players can use Offline. Once you've completed the tests you can post your results in an Online scoreboard (a la Colin McRae 4, Sega Rally 2, Prince of Persia, etc.)

Ninja giaden was orginally a nintendo or sega game. It was out long before tenchu.

Theres alot of games i want. I want Ninja giaden, Crisome skies, Splinter cell 2, Time Splitters (waiting for it to be a platium hit), and Otigo (that dead ninja game). I have the money, but i should save some to pay for car insurance and for universty. I need to get a job. (money from money earned over the summer)

I also need to finish GTA vice city, and GTA 3, Tony Hawk 4, and I barely started Ghost Recon (TH4 and GR gifts from christmas).

And as for you that dont know I guess after you beat this game you unlock the old Ninja Gaiden games.... Hell in the back of the Manual they show how to play the older game so it must be on there...would be fun to do again since I dont have it anymore.

And I have yet to beat that stupid fatman... he pisses me off... I tried to hit and run but that doesnt work very well...

Also in the gamespot forums there are people on like chapter 8 or so and they said the damage you take is very high.... Also does anyone know how many levels there are?

And how the hell do you buy stuff... can you do it at anytime or do you have to find one of the statues?

They did that to me with the last three mags, until I realized that my subscription ran out in DEC, and just sent these out so I can re-up. Check the date up by your shipping label by your name, your subscription may be up too.

You have to find the statues in order to buy things and upgrade weapons. The currency used is the yellow essence that you collect.

I'm on chapter 7 faceing the pink bitch... she is so fast I cant even hit her...

How the hell did you kill Alma she always gets me in that bubble stabs me in the chest and kicks my ass to the ground... holy hell and I thought that fatman was hard.... I have a feeling this game is going to be very fustrateing in the next chapters....

Does anyone else have this game other then Iron Chef?

If so post some stuff from this game if you need help and learn from our mistakes.... by the way if your hesitateing to buy this get it. This game is VERY hard and it will make you come back for more.

The thought of playing this on hard mode is chilling to the bone.

well now I'm on Chapter 10.... holy crap this game gets really hard... after you beat a hard thing it just gets worse!

Hands down some of the best Duals in a game I've ever seen.

Once you beat the horse you get counter attacks which help alot in battles.

I'm stuck in a room in 10 with a big goddess statue with a locked door and I dont know what to do... I got a key in the same room but it doesnt unlock the door WTF? lol...

If your stuck on something I can help you :P.

A little hint on the horse kill the fatmen first and ignore the horse, them fat guys will stop spawning after awhile. Then you have a one on one battle, charge the horse when he charges at you, and you slice through him block fast so he cant hit you in your back with that side swing he does. Also dont hold block when he is chargeing for you or he'll pick you up and throw you like a chew toy.

I just started Chapter 6. Hate the Black Ninja's. Do you face them again? Hated the 3 dragon fiends. How many scarabs are there in the monastary, so I dont miss any.

lol be prepared to hate Alma... shes a bitch even though she looks pimp :P. Not sure how many scarabs there are. By the way prepare to use ninpos on alma its the only way I could kill her so save them.

The black ninjas are nothing man...

Right now I'm playing against these 2 electrical snakes and they are kicking my ass... cant seem to get them. It's not one damn boss, but 2! jezz.

By the way what weapon are you guys useing the most?

I keep finding myself useing the Dragon sword... I use that big windhammer thing if I fight them red dragons it takes off their heads so nicely :D, I never use the daggers... I get hit to much with them.

I've been taking my time and playing Jedi Academy allot so I'm still on Chapter 3. ^ ^() And now KoTOR has some DL Content so my video game schedule has become even more complicated.

Made it to chapter 12 at about a crawl... The levels definately get longer the further you progress.
