i was just wondering how will you hook up with your friends in this game since there are so many differen servers?

Don't know hopefully it will be like PSO, i really liked the way you could message your friends and invite them to a certain server or room, hopefully they will have some sort of message system like that, or maybe even direct chat.

If you want to play with your friends you will need to make characters on the same server! The servers will all have names. You pick the server and then make your character - You get 5 characters so you could have all 5 on different servers. ( This is if they do it like most of the other MMORPGs out now ) Once you make a character on a server he/she will always be on that server. TFLO should have a friends list with in the game so you will know when your friends are on - most other MMORPGs have this feature.

Since you start in a house you own.... you may own a shop or somthing outside of your house it wouldnt be logical that you can switch servers once you pick one.
It will not be like PSO's servers because that is not a MMORPG thats 4 people creating a game.
No reason to get worried when we know nothing of the servers yet.
Also each server has a different history. So say somthing bad happens in a server... the Black Plague goes around in server X so if it's like PSO everyone would flush into Server Y. Thats not a True Fantasy.

Wow, that's neat.
Anyway, i'm sure with xbox voice messaging communicating through different servers should be easy.
Although, 5 players per every server is alot.. lots of houses.. people.. and i wonder if one server is full, that would suck.. all these characters.. gahh

It is 5 Characters per Live Account.
Most likely you can choose a new server for each new character if you wanted to.

I think you'll be able to switch servers cause, what if your friend picks a different server in the begining. Then your ****ed or you'll have to create a new character till u end up in the same server as your friend. That would suck

Just delete your new character, which will suck anyway because you wont know wtf your doing when you first start the game anyway, then switch servers... Why is that so hard?

there will probly be server named 'a' and server 'b' and before creating your character you will have to select a starting server lets say 'a' so then you and ur friends will have to agree on a starting server im guessing this is the most likely thing....

I read an interview with one of the guys from level-5 and he said that they want to get a system off comunicting with friends thats kind of like PSO's guild cards, or FFXI's Link Systemso that you can see whos on, and maybe even like send them messages/ mail or something
