The age old question...Can agons fly??

Ive been wondering for...quite a long time...discussed it with my friends and bla, bla, bla. sadly we were not able to draw a conclusion from our life wasting question...does anyone know or do i have to wait a couple of months (prolly till december 2004 here in the netherlands:( ) to find out?

Not my fault, don't get tyour hopes up too much, I don't know for a FACT that they won't be something you can ride. I was hoping you could capture them too, I just doubt that you can. And dragons are more armoured, therefore better for battles.

I think the flying dragons in this game that you see are friendly and you cannot attack or tame them... i think they are like birds in the fantasy world... Ive watched that trailer where the Dragon flies right over 3 people about 15 times and I'm begining to believe that...

So my guess they are just their for a whole fantasy vibe.

Two small things to say about this...

1) It would be a marvel of networking if they managed to stream the three dimensional information of flying simultaneously across everyone's screens. I wouldn't get my hopes too high, personally.

2) Tomatoo is not rotten. How dare you even suggest the thought of it. :P

They do this in 1942 and Tribes 2... yet those are at a much smaller scale.

Seeing it in a MMORPG would be another record breaker for TFLO

I think I remember reading that your tamed monster will also attack the creature that you targeted so obviously there is a difference between the horse camel and dragon attacking isint there :cool:

Actually, I beleive that you attack if you're riding, but then you can dismount and have you animal attack as well.

And Amazeingly I've never seen a pic with a guy attacking on a animal....

I believe that you must dismount from a animal before you attack.

yup looks true... the part was in the clip for about 2 seconds, but he did take a full swing at a harpie.

well its a bit harder to jump on their heads in this game seeing u cant jump. It would have been really awsome if u would though (fly the dragon not jump on peoples head)

i dought they will,because of the fact that broomsticks only huver.It would look stupid if a dragon always flew only a couple of feet above the ground.

Umm have you not seen the dragons in the trailers they are about 30 feet in the air.

yeah i think that would be a lil too much coding for the devs, i mean they already have a living world to deal with. Plus any possible glitches. Think of how many glitches and problems would arise if they allowed thatl

ive seen trailers with people flying brooms, so i know theres flying. and nothing official has been said about dragons so everything so far is rumors and speculation. oh and you can attack from the thing you are riding, ive seen it in many a trailer.

i think they will have air ways set up maby you will get swormed by harpies if you get out of them or maby you just cant get out or maby you can but youll get off track but if there is no flying dragon to take the non majic people from contanent to contanent than the brooms wont be able to either i dont think.

There are 2 Yes 2 kinds of Dragons...

First one is of course the one we will get to ride.

The other spieces is more of a mystery and we really dont know why they are there, but judgeing from what I've seen I dont think you want to try to ride the flying dragons they might have you for lunch.

well its sorta obviuos we wont be able to fly with the dragons or have and ride a flyign dragon because you would be unstoppable its be kinda cheap to i mean you could just soar above your enemy and they cant melee hit you and if they cast magic they wont be able to do it rite either
