Battle field well defintly win with multiplayer. But Call of duty's single player campaing is awsome. I wish my comp didn't suck so bad so i could play it.( i tried it at my cousins house) ::crying::

Well..considering B1942 has NO single player at all, I guess Call of Duty would win.

It has premade bot matchs, loosely around a story.

I played some DoD last night for the first time on Steam. I just installed Steam over the weekend to update all my other HL mods.

Ew DoD-Steam'd is lame. I remember the Alpha versions, they were the best. Now you hit the guy once and they're dead.

Day of Defeat it awsome... and its free can hardly beat that.
I like the 1-2 hit rifle idea.. its more real.
If you ever get hit by a Kar in the stomach you'd die in one shot to.
Call of Duty - for awsome graphics, sniping whores and crappy rifles.
1942 - so you can run people over with a car Muhahaha! Main point here you can drive stuff around... the gun battles in 1942 arent all that great.
Dod - Somtimes hard to tell who is who... great game nonetheless. I was playing it Over CS for a long time. Plus you can carry Machine guns around, which I think is awsome.
Combine these games with Call of Duty graphics, 1942's vehicles, and Dod's gun battles... well you'll have one kick ass game.

Realism is good, but too much realism is insane.

Blah I always thought DoD was more real then Firearms... they made the characters look so retarded when they ran around.
the "Patching Yourself UP" I thought was retarded.
You are correct though to much realism... like guns back fireing... gernades going off by themselves... the lose of a arm or leg and your still alive bleeding to death when you cant move...
Thats why CS Got so big it's blend between realism and fantasy(for lack of a better term).

I used to play a little FA. I was actually really good at it. I love realism in a game. However, the HL mod that I am really into right now is Natural Selection. Oh man that is fun as hell.

Ive never played BF multiplayer because I have dial-up! ( I think we are suppose to be getting dsl soon. When that day comes I will break down in tears lol) I havnt played COD yet but it look pimpin'. So I dont really know.

Yes Natural selection is funny since you can be a alien and bite people lol...
Cept I dont think that game is hosted on steam sadly.
Oh another note... I like how FA had a little skill lvling idea... In FA once you killed so many guys you could get a new skill, which I thought was cool. The nice thing about the skills in FA is they really didnt to seem way unbalanced.
Some of the Mods for CS (Superhero, WC3) have to powerful of skills.
