View Full Version : Unique Weapon Crafting

Has anyone here heard if the smiths and such who make weapons will be able to craft unique weapons that can only be smithed or bought? I think that would be an interesting part in the game, then for certain weapons you could do certain power-up spells in battle, I can't wait to try out the spells. I just thought maybe there are weapons that have certain abilities because of a pic I saw where the swords in a shop looked like they were engraved with symbols, maybe thats all they were, but who knows?

Yea, but in an MMORPG I play on my computer, the blacksmiths can make anything from nails to weapons and armour (just an example) and since it's being quite realistic I think you may be able to make your own weapons.

yea, I just mentioned that becasue I saw a pic where what looked like some spell was being used on a weapon (greenish glow around his sword actually) so I just thought it might be something to do with magic.

Yes there has. It says in the description about the game, 'become a blacksmith and create the ultimate weapon' so you will definitely be able to make different kinds of weapons. Not sure if magical effects will be able to be put on though, we'll have to wait and see.

I wonder if the smiths can make specialized weapons for different monsters... But yes, we'll have to wait and see.

That'd be kool. If they do they probably will have elemental damage (fire>nature)

I don't think there's going to be summoning magic like in the FF games. However it's not certain or clear if you will be able to ride a flying dragon or not yet.

I think that the flying dragons will just be creatures that you fight, unless maybe you needed high taming skills to capture it.

since i am going to be the ultimate chef... and a powerfull wizard, i am going to need either a pretty wicked sword, or a really awsome-rad staff. Either of which will have to be utterly powerfull and/or usefull, are any of you blacksmith up to task of forging a weapon for (one of) the most influential/powerfull cooks in all of the land? Keep in mind... I am very rich, and will have many connections;)

Well there are 70 magic skills and conjureing might be in there ... but it looks dim since we havent seen a pic of a summoning... and if someone has please post it :D

And don't forget your cleric/minstrel somewhere around here. When I get to a dwarf char I'll give it a try, but I don't think blacksmiths will be making staves (unless they can be made of metals.. hmmm, mithril staff of nature!)

hmmm, my guess is most other chefs will want me dead, so i will need something really good (posibly the best) to protect myself, are any of you guys blacksmith?

Naw, but if my Chilto theif and his great-sword find some rare stuff, I'll be sure to trade you for some supplies. Also, if you can put up fliers in your resturaunt, add my Chilto as a treasure hunter. hehe, Chilto with a two hander..

(above) oh, yeah, that would be rad, if it is there, i want it!:D
