Cel-shaded

Personally i like the unqiue kind of graphics they use. I wouldn't have this feeling if it wasn't for jet set radio. I got to finish that game up. Any who What do you think of the cel shaded graphics that level 5 is using? Some say its kitty, baby or blah blah blah...

I think its nice.

I think that games that attpemt to make things look real (as of now) still give player models a cartoony look (they try to make it look real, but yet it's still not real as watching a dvd etc..). Plus I bet the cartoony look wont give it a high rateing like mature (as if it stops most people anyway).

But until they can make games look so real like watching a movie, I think the cel-shading is a fine way to go.

personally i fell in love with the game over the gfx its nothing like playing my last mmorpg Tibia those were really bad plus its a jap game so what more can you expect but anime cartoons

I really like the graphics, i think they a cool and fresh looking. I think that they look like windwaker... only a good bit better, and that is a very good thing:mc:

it depends on the game if you ask me and if they can pull it off like TFLO and Jet Set Radio Future, thier cell shading is amazing while Zelda if you look at it the character designs though do run smooth look as if they are lacking detail and were drawn by a 2 year old.

The Cel-Shaded graphics are done just right - not to over the to cartoon-ish. I like the way the world around the characters is a bit more of a real feel to it. To many other MMORPGs are going for the ultra realistic look. Out of all the new MMORPGs coming out this year only World of Warcraft is going to look a bit like TFLO.

I don't care for Cel-Shading at all, but if the gameplay and replay value is amazing then I could really careless. I mean, PSO's graphics weren't that great, but since it was so fun to play I didn't mind.

But there idiots, it's a great anime style, alot like a fighting game i just played on an Xbox Demo Disc, and i <3 2d and cell shaded.

yeah I like Cel-Shading depending on how well its done Zelda = bad cel shading TFLO = Good cel shading

I really don't pay to much attention to graphics, i didnt buy an xbox for the awesome nvidia graphics or whatever, i bought it for the hard drive and LAN internet play, so for me TFLO looks like a great game that is why I'm interested in it. By the way I think the cel shaded graphics will be cool though because I love playing Jet Set Radio and love the way Zelda looks, it will be different and nice.

computers are better for LAN except Halo now that i've played Halo wiht 16 players on 4 big screen TVs halo just isn't the same.

but PC is much better like a 32 player Natural Selection game everyone in the same room or a 64 player Call of Duty game :D

but what he is talking about is the LAN card on the back of his Xbox which not only lets your xbox LAN to other xbox's but also lets you lan to your Computer Network/Hub/Router so that you can play online.

I love cel shaded graphics plus it sorta goes along with the name, True*Fantasy*Live Online. Cell shaded graphics it gives it a more realistic dreamworld effect if that makes sense heh i'm confusing myself

Im learning how to make 3d animations and i found out that there was a really cool plugin to make things look cell shaded. The moment i applied it to my 3d designs of anime i did. they really made me fall in love with it. The cell shading in this game is one of the major reasons of why im gonna get this game (that and i love MMORPGs) Plus anyways if u make a fantasy game so realistic it makes it kind of crap cos the graphics look crap so making this Cell shaded was a totally awsome idea.

did you buy it,i have 3ds max and i didnt even have to pirate it...i think i could find a plug in like the one you are using but 3ds max isnt too good for modeling

I really like the idea of cel-shading because it gives the game a happier, more up-beat feel (if that makes any sense) then other mmorpgs. E.G.- shadow bane, and Ever Quest,~ their graphics just seem dark and like trying to be too realilistick, but then they just look stupid and make me depressed :(
