View Full Version : How dangerous are GTA codes?

I was looking up some GTA codes and on some of them (mainly pedestrian riot and other pedestrian things) have warnings on them saying they may be permnant. Is that just if you save with it on? Or should i just avoid them completly. I don't want all the people going ape **** when i'm trying to do missions! Can someone help me with this?

As long as you don't save it you shold be fine. I don't use codes in the game personally because I'm Billy Badass at the game, but just don't save and everything will be peachy keen.

Just make 2 different games: one for missions, one for screwing around. That's what my friend did.

Yeah, just like everyone else said, just dont overwrite your main game save and keep all the screwing around on another.

Yeah,It happened to me and i had to delete the title from my xbox(luckily i wasnt that far)

It happened to me on grand theft auto 3 for pc. I put that pedestrian have weapons cheat and the one were they are all pissed at you on. I was driving down the street and this old grandma wipped out a 12 gauge and blew the **** outta my car....

I never use codes to help me beat the game. Just to mess around. So i shouldn't use cheats on my main game even if i don't save? Maybe i should have a back up on a memory card
