The Wonders of THE MOD

I've recently been reintroduced to the fact that you can mod your xbox to perform wonderful tasks. TECHTV XBOX INFO (http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/modtips/story/0,24330,3420925,00.html)
I was recently watching The Screensavers and the information they gave me seems quite intriguing. Has anyone else modded their xbox or want to. If so please tell me whether its' good, bad, or whether or not I should mod mines. Thanks!!!

i heard that Agent Under Fire allows you to mod without opening the box, if so it shouldn't kill the xbox, well at least i don't think. I guess its good to mod if you have the time and money to do it, which i do ( ah the joys of winter break in college! ). I heard of some wonderful things like loading the game on you hard drive and swapping files from the PC to the xbox. http://xbox-scene.com/ . this is also a good site about modding.
