" I apologize for the length of this post, but please read it and SPREAD THIS MESSEGE as fast as you can before the powers that be have their way with this thread. By now you've all heard the Februrary 9th rumor (When you beat the entire game on all difficulties, including legendary, after the Credits a "...Coming Februrary 9th" messege appears) to which bungie made a reply saying something to the extent of "That statement is a misleading rumor, but i wont reveal the EXACT wording to it, though if you do see it it makes itself quite clear". Bungie is right, The person who originally posted the Februrary 9th thread did reveal the true wording... but it was edited down and then locked... You may have noticed the popular thread "why Halo 3 is coming out VERY soon". The author uses the Feb. 9th theory but has not seen it himself. You'll notice some people reply saying "The next Februrary 9th is in 2010, sorry to burst your bubble". They of course sound like dumbasses, because there is a Feb 9th every year... but you'll notice that their posts have been edited to remove one important word from the "Coming Februrary 9th" messege.
This removed word is what bungie meant when it said "If you saw the messege, it made itself Crystal Clear" ( by the way, just do a google search on this or ask someone else for the link to the article were bungie says this, i don't have the URL memorized) I have seen the true messege myself, as have MANY other players, even on this forum. Chances are you have only seen the edited down versions of their posts, or their locked threads drifting away into the sea of dead threads. Odds are, my thread will suffer the same fate, I WILL NOT and I swear to you, i will NOT edit this post, so if you see an edited messege, you know it was bungie that edited it, so read it while you can and GET THIS MESSEGE OUT.

Grab a calander and look for yourself, the next Tuesday Februrary 9th is in... 2010. It sucks, i know, six more years. But it is the true release date of Halo 3. Bungie announced their next project IS NOT Halo three, so that gives them enough time to make their next game, then spend a huge amount of time perfecting Halo 3 before it's releas in 2010.
There are many other people that can confirm this Tuesday thing besides me (some will inevitably reply to this thread if they still can), just search the forums, of course most of their statements ate edited down to say "The Next Februrary 9th is in 2010". Just beat the game on every difficulty (i did it on a completely new profile starting with easy then working my way up to legendary) and see for yourself. If you want ABSOLUTE evidence, it will come straight from bungie if and when they edit/lock this thread. The only reason they have been doing this is because... it is true. They want people to see the messege for themselves instead of hearing it here, but I am sharing it with you because it is the right thing to do, so you don't give your hopes up waiting for anything to happen on Feb. 9 2005. Again I will not edit this post, so if you see it edited, you know it was the mods. If you see it locked, same thing applies. SO read it while you can, and PLEAE spread the messege. Bungie can alter/delete one thread by one person, but not if everyone joins the effort together to get the word out. And Remember this sad but true statement
