The Animatrix

Ok, so I love the Matrix movie, mainly the original one, but the others where ok too. I have heard about the Animatrix for quiet some time, but never felt the need to rent, or DL it.

Well, while watching a recording of the Family Guy, I saw a preview that it was coming on Saturday at midnight (last Saturday), so I set my DVR to record and got it.

Finally watched it last night. For those who have not seen it, its about 9 short mini stories all bundled into one show (about two hours total time - with comercials). I actually really liked the first two stories, but all the other ones bored me out of my mind. I am glad I got to see it, but I am definitly glad I did not have to pay for it. I was overall not really impressed.

Anyone else see it. feel free to discuss. (I know there are some Matrix fans in here)

yeah I own the Animatrix some of them were really good and some of them were really boring

the ones about the history mostly owned. I really enjoyed seeing the back story

Some were good...but others were meh.

I liked World Record, Kids story *due to style* and Dectives story the best

yeah I won the whole matrix collection in a comp. I didn't find it too interesting...

I like it better than both of the Matrix sequels.

I saw some of them on adult swim, I didn't pay a whole lot of attention. I remember about 2 min of everything and it didn't make sense. Animation was good and all, but serious anime pisses me off. Give me something to laugh at, like DBZ or the first few trigun's.
