It's called an avatar - on the edit profile pages, there's a place where you can choose your avatar. It's right at the bottom of the "Edit Options" page.

i was making a banner for the site and decided to post it here (1 of..5) its a bit small and you can tell the detail of the shots..i think i might have to rethink our design MEH..who need banners right..i think thats what i'll do..screw the banners
