I have cable, I purchased Xbox live, my router is lynksys BEFSR41. I try to go on and it says Cables connected, DNS and IP ok, but Xbox live is not found. In addition, can anyone tell me the name of a wireless router (A wireless router that allows you to use ethernet cables on it, like the Dell TrueMobile 2300) that will work with BOTH the DS and Xbox live? I appreciate any help given.

^nice quote from Family Guy.

Did anyone get a notice of XBL getting updated or something? That might explain the glitching.

My Live hasnt been working for a while, ever since the power went out one night. But its due to my router, not my connection.

Notedog maybe your router is not compatible with Xbox live. go here (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/connect/routerlanding.htm) and see if it is or not.

any router should be compatible with it. I would try reinstalling Xbox Live and see if that helps.

Hey this is what you should do...
1) Plug the ethernet cable into your xbox.
2) Go to your cable modem.
3) Unplug it so all the lights go out.
4) Plug it back it.
5) Enjoy xbox live.

(Umm you're going to have to do this again to get on such programs like AIM.)

EEEE! WRONG! LOL just kidding, but, no ANY router will work. Go to XBOX.com for a list of compatible and non-compatible routers. :cheeky: :woot: :bouncy: :tongue2: :D

It's definetly my Xbox, Halo 2, is TWO days old, and it says the game won't work, and yesterday it wouldn't load certain multiplayer maps, in addition to that, the AV cable is a piece of shit, and it won't display anything on my TV unless it's in a certain position. I'll let you guys know if it works when I sort everything out.
