Has anyone here got Donkey Konga, and if so is it actually any good? It looks quite interesting, and I'm thinking about buying it when it comes out here, which is Oct. 29, stupid release delays. The main thing I'm worring about is its dependance on multiplayer, because if the single player mode is crap i'm down well... shit street as none of my friends give a shit about the GameCube and as such refuse to even look at it. Sooo, opinions?

If its got good multiplayer I'll buy it, I'll play it with my cousin and brother. Funny thing is, I only know 2 people with a GameCube in my school (we got 2,500 students). My friend, he's selling it because he wants a PS2 (dumbass) and me :(

I know three people who have a gamecube at me school, though we're a lot smaller, about 850 students.

Seriously is that all? When I went there for the Bishop Lyons it seemed larger than that.

I dont know anyone either and we've got over 800 then again they're all females so our conversations arent usually about gaming not to be sexist but its true

Well, here at my school we have like 1200 students, and I have yet to meet one person who owns a gamecube. But surley someone must. Anyway, though, I happen to know several people that are nintendo fans outside of school, which helps :) We can get 4 of us to get togeither and play games..... we even have gameboy advances each, and enough link cables to the gamecube to go around, meaning we had a blast playing four swords! (which, for the majority of it, like besides 3 levels I won ;))
Since I finished four swords I'm also looking for a good multiplayer game.... donkey konga seems alright. However, its the cost of the controllers which almost kills it :(

I have about 10,000 people in my school and only know one person with a GC. But anyways I played Donkey Konga a few times and it is pretty fun.

how easy/hard is it? How long do you think it'd take the average gamer to beat it? I was pre-ordering paper mario (on gamesman you get a free tru blue controller, not just for paper mario, but several others like donkey konga) but was starting to wonder if I should instead get donkey konga...

I wanna play it, it looks fun enough. Hell, my mom said it looks interesting! An this is a woman who has in all her life, only played one round of mortal combat with John. (She won, I swear to god. Funniest thing ever)

My god I'd love to see that. Well going by all the parties at which Nintendo's shown DKn off it seems most people like it, from Evanesance to Chingy. Although I still hold my statement that they should've put Devo into the playlist.
