Sorry I have to give props to the big Sony on htis move. It's soo much more sleaker and portable. It's soo much easier to carry around to your friends house then the xbox is. And since Gran Turismo 4 is schedueled to be out for the holiday season I may decided to grab one (or ask my mommy for one). I mean now people will complain more about how big the xbox is, kinda like before when the xbox first came out but 10 times worse. And this time I'm leaning towards their side. And comming with an ethernet port and dial up, it makes it more appealing then any other console. The only thing bad about this is that it still has only two controller ports though, and you can't play the MMORPG final fantasy XI because there is no way to connect the HDD. But I'm pretty sure that Sony isn't that dumb to not make it adaptable to it. Sorry my xbox friends but Sony kinda kicked the Xbox's @$$ on this one. Props Sony, props.

I don't like Playstation, never did.
I know graphics don't make a game, i have alot of fun playing old school 2D games, but i just can't stand how extremely awful and gritty PS2 graphics are, and basically none of the games look even worth trying. By the way i played all three consols. Gamecube has potenial, but doesn't use it as much as it could.

By the way, dial up sucks, I don't want people using crappy ass dial up and slowing down my game play. But i have to agree, xbox is a major pain in the ass to hual around.

Yeah, I saw this the other day. I like the top loading, and its cool that this one is made portable for mounting in like cars and things. Interesting, and a good move by Sony. However, I still will not be getting one. I do not have the need for any more consoles other than my XBox.

It looks nicer but this doesn't fix the fact that PS2 is horribly made hardware and it's library of games doesn't compare to Xbox.

Also it was never dubbed "PSTwo" it is still "PlayStation 2"

Says you. Look at the Gamespot forums, and NintendoNow forums....You'll see "PSTwo" and besides, it'd be confusing if you said PS2, when referring to the thin PS2, or mini PS2.

So, in essence, yes, it is dubbed as "PSTwo"

library of games doesn't compare to Xbox

The Xbox miss the RPG aspect by a long shot. TFLO was about closest thing they can get their hands on a eastern rpg. Xbox- Fable, Kotor 2, Jade Empire (next year) and Morrowind/Elder series (Never played Morriwond /Elder but I give it the benefit of the doubt)

PS2- Star Ocean Till the End of Time, . hack series (mixed with anime and to many to count), Dark cloud 1-2 and adventures is coming out whenever, Finaly Fantasy 10-12 (11 just came out with an expansion), Also Final Fantasy XII coming out next year, Kingdom of hearts 1-2, Xenosaga 1-2 which is also coming out next year. If I compare this with ps1 rpgs then it's kind of obvious.

You might think that the xbox rpgs are big names but that's only because it's on the xbox which is quite a miracle the way MS been going. Fable was a great game and so was kotor with it story line.... but what esle?

I might of went far with this but until I see the xbox hit the rpg section more harder then it just the same like ps2 but with better graphics hardware.

but seriously, look a which RPG's are BETTER. KOTOR, ES3:M, and Fable are all better than the best RPG's on PS2.

The fight between this generation of consoles, when it comes to games, has always been "quality versus quantity." And with the RPG's it is no defferent

I think it looks great (besides how you can't have a harddrive with it, meaning people couldn't play final fanatasy online) but I've already got a ps2, and don't see a great reason to get it.
