The Cube may have had some great games but as usual there's been some games that promised so much and yet they gave so little. Personally I'd have to say Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. After playing the n64 version for hours on end I was really excited about it only to be let down by its rather average gameplay.

I don't think Double Dash comes close to being as good as MK64, but it's still a great game.

Harvest Moon for the Gamecube was a bit of a dissapointment ..

I agree, I was excited about it before it was released but I've only played it maybe 5 times.

mario cart did lack something. I was suprised to find that mario golf was better. Go figure.

Harvest Moon does piss me off, Mario Kart was way better on N64 though, it was like crack..I liked Mortal Kombat 64 a lot also.

Harvest Moon also, didn't quite live up to what I expected. Especially after the producer had been rambling on for ages about how its going to put all the good things of the HM series in one game only to find they took all of that out.

hmm Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes didn't live up to my expectations... um almost all the Resident Evil games on the GC...
Rebel Strike 3 was a let down.
