I swear this game is freaking boring but for some weird reason....I must contuine playing. I've just pasted a year now and my 1st Mother Cow gave birth and it is already grown up. This be easier if I had a memory card lol.

I pity you :sick1: This game is super repetitive, and the fact that you have to start all over again everytime you play makes it even worse.

Harvest Moon: AWL sucks major balls, the Nintendo64 and SNES versions were great. But this is just bad, no festivals, no shops, no interaction. What they've done is take all of the good stuff out and replace it with new shit stuff.
If ya want a true HM experiance get the n64 or SNES version. They still feel like they should be boring, yet they're actually fun. Not the case with AWL

dude, no, AWL rocks, it is just different. It IS a true HM experience, in fact it is the latest. Just because they change the formula a little bit doesn't mean its bad. I haven't played it too much, or in a while, but it is still a great HM game. The infasis is more on the family and kid than making money

It's not terrible, I mean I would've spend a good 30+ hours on it but after that it just got really boring for me unlike other versions. Each to their own i guess.

I was going to buy it after the greatness of the GBA one, but everyone seems to hate it so I'm hoping I'll rent it sometime just so I get the beach house in the GBA one. :)

My brother plays that game like it is going out of style or something. Haven't really gotten into it though....

Hopefully the sequel to both the GBA and GCN versions will fix up any problems, it was originally supposed to be out this december but I think it's slipped to March.
