Actually the final version was released a few days ago, but it should start coming availible on Windows Update and auto-updates now.
Lots of improved security, improved firewall, IE pop-up blocker, reports of faster boot up time, and lots of IE enhancements.
This Service Pack does not check for pirated/black listed serials, so those of you who pirated WinXP can still update this time (unlike SP1 - which took a little work).
Its about 266 MB in size, so its gonna take you a few mins.

im going to go find that update now. also i pirarted win xp on my other computer and was able to get sp1 fine.

i did it on my other computer, you know the old one that had win ME installed on it. im going to assume you were trying to be a smart asshole. I would have to go steal someones computer to "pirate" an alienware. Software is much easier. Tempest keep your bullshit to yourself.

Windows ME sucks monkey balls. I have it on my old pc with 64MB RAM....it is hell.

I downloaded Service Pack 2 a few days ago. Thankfully it didn't break my PC and everything seems to be running nice and smoothly.

ROFLMFAO. I got SP2, and pira... err Windows XP Pro. I had to use a crack to change somethings and installed it fine. I have SP1 and SP2. I had SP2 for quiet a while now.
