Cooling Down

Ok, so my PC was having some hard time staying up since I was really putting a hurting on my old 300W Power Supply.

I was running a lot of crap...3 HDDs, 3 CDROMs, Zip, graphics, 3 USB devices, 3.5, and all the norm stuff inside. As you can see it adds a lot. So I replaced my 300W with a 480/550W supply. Ahh much better.

Plus when you run this much crap stuff gets hot! So the power suppy comes with an extra fan, and I added two more 80mm fans. (6 fans total) Plus I changed all my IDE/ATA flat cables with round ones, with the exception of the floppy cable (not a big problem). Sealed up the case and good to go.

Now things are running much smoother for the long runs. :thumb2:

Good, now you won't burn down your apartment and you only need 1 fan for the apartment now!!!!!

Yes, and a futon mattress. Its painfull now, and most of my friends have boycotted sitting on it as of last week.
