I want to get a apple laptop. Where should I look? Which type should I get and what specs should I look for (I'm going to use it for programming and graphics design, plus gaming if possible). When is the powerbook G5 coming out?

The Powerbook G5 doesnt come out until next year. Do you REALLY need a laptop?
The Powerbook G4 1.5 GHz laptop is between 2-3k. An older model which you couldnt get from Apple but from eBay or a reseller is like 2k on down and is perfect for anything you would need a Mac for.
I would suggest waiting for the iMac G5 which comes out next month. While nothign official, they will be between 1,300-2,500 and will come with Pro Speakers, DVD-R, 1.6-1.8 G5, 80gb HD, and a 17-20in monitor.
I hope to get one in November or December.
