Easy as the subject title, you can change/edit your lists once you see better movies.

Overall:

1.) Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi
*All other Star Wars movies
2.) Full Metal Jacket
3.) Black Hawk Down
4.) Fight Club
5.) Kill Bill: Vol. 1
6.) Saving Private Ryan
7.) The Professional
8.) Aliens
9.) Scarface
10.) Platoon

Comedy:

1.) History of the World: Part 1
2.) Army of Darkness
3.) Blazing Saddles
4.) Office Space
5.) Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail
6.) Naked Gun
7.) Pulp Fiction
8.) Robin Hood: Men in Tights
9.) Mafia!
10.) Mallrats

Very hard decisions in the Overall category. Don't necessarily need a comedy category, but I put it there just because. Kill Bill Vol. 2 will probably be up in the top 10 once I see it. :)

What do you think of Stargate Atlantis, LavisBlade? I didn't really like the first episode. :(

I feel they leeched off of the whole Stargate SG-1 fanchise and did not make a totally new show. Also I didnt feel the first episodes storyline was good at all it reminded me of the First ep of SG-1.

But

I like the cast and the idea, plus the CG in Atlantis are some of the best effects I've ever seen for a TV show (Not Movie). I really love the humor in atlantis it's alittle forced but I feel it is needed.

Overall I like it in general and I think it has great potential but I think it wont become as big as SG-1 as of now.

On a offtopic note, I'll never understand how the ancients could could have been demolished by the wraith. Sure they can suck the life out of you and have fancy ships but they dont seem smart at all.

You're right, now that I think about it, the first episode of Stargate SG-1 was pretty lame. I think it was up until they met Tielk (sp?) that I really got interested in the series. Which was what, the 4th or 5th episode?

Actually Teal'c was in the first ep. He turns on his fellow guards and shoots them all down with Jack. The first ep was great and answered alot of questions that the movie left out.

In Atlantis it's like its all repeating again. We've got the super powerful Wraith (Goa'uld). We have the "alien Member" Tayla (I think her name is) which resembles Teal'c alot. There just happens to be a iris at Atlantis even though it is more hi-tech same idea. Atlantis seems to be starting to shy away from the SG-1 ideal now with following episodes.

Last night was a great episode where the Atlantis team gets stuck in the stargate and they added elements that SG-1 discovered about the stargate and they switched it up with the whole ancient ship and alien.
