I just got Run Like Hell and wondered if anyone else had played it and had opinions. I was given the game, which is cool, because it means that even if I hate it, I didn't pay for it. I played for a little while, and the camera motion made me feel kind of sick. Also, hunting for keys (aka "a crowbar") has not been fun so far. At least my crappy default weapon never runs out of ammo...

Sorry about the crapiness, I don't really know if a game is crappy or not when I send them...

Aw - I wasn't going to tell that you sent it to me. Like I said, it's a free game, and free's cool whether or not I like the game in the end. Plus, isn't that one of the things game reviewers always talk about? "You think this is all fun, but you don't know how many crappy games we've had to play through." (Check out Alex Navarro's video here http://www.gamespot.com/gamespot/features/all/gamespotting/081003onlocation/index.html for a pretty funny example.) Basically, I'm not having much fun with this game, but wanted to see if others had played it and liked it.

If it's only $10, I'd get it. The free music CD is worth that even if you hate it. Plus, that's only the price of a couple of rentals. I'd get it.

Yes you should rent it for 5$, to see if you want to buy it for 10$.
Anyways a price tag of 10$ should hint at the quality of this game...

Well, it didn't start its Xbox life at $10 - it's a port of a PS2 game (not quite a straight port, though).

Yep, still $50. They figure, "hey, people will still pay it!" Most of us think they'll make it a platinum hit after Halo 2 comes out.

I dunno I might get this. I thought it looked kinda cool actually! A free CD is a plus!

Well, I wrote a review, so I won't fill in my opinions again, but suffice it to say that I wasn't a big fan. If you can get it cheap, though, it's probably worth it.

Is it like "The Thing"? Because I have that game and I love it.

Don't know - never played The Thing.

Going back to an older post in this thread... I just found out that Halo's only $30 now.

Yeah... I was a little slow to notice. I don't usually look at it in the store, because I already have it.
