Careful when you burn at max speed. Sometimes the cd will run on your computer but not in a normal dvd player because you burnt the particles to quickly.

I know people that have to burn at 4x just so their dvd player can read the cd. Then again I know people that can burn at 16x and their player can read it. So just a pointer if your dvd player cannot read the cd try burning at slower speeds.

By the way its none of my business but how much did you pay?

I paided 90 bucks after shipping and all.

Yeah, I burn things at slow speeds for better quality. My CD RW is a 40x, but I never go higher than 16x (maybe 24x).

Most of the time with DVDs its not the speed of the burn but the media you burned it on.
